The Catbirdini Seat turned 2 today! Yap would have turned 7 two weeks ago.
This anniversary is in honor of Yap, who was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, aka “big-assed heart disease” 2 years ago (June, 2011). He was given a life expectancy of 6 months or less and instead, survived 2 whole years, sticking around long enough to hang out with me while I was recovered from surgery and then making sure I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science, Dietetics.
Yapper-Pants, rest in kitty peace, June 3, 2013. Your heart was too big for you to live in this world. You were a very, very good boy and we all love and miss you very much.
